N.E.W. Participated in the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure

The Network of Enterprising Women (N.E.W) is thrilled to report that the 12th Annual Richmond Race for the Cure event on May 9, 2009 was a huge success. Dressed in pink and determined to make a difference, fifteen teammates gathered to walk, run (even roll!) for a cure.

Not only did team members have a great time at the event, they helped to raise over $2000 in donations on-line and another $1000 in donations via solo fund-raising events.

Team Captain, Suze Naoroz, stated "The race was amazing. It was a joy to be amid 9,400 men, women and children all with the common purpose of eradicating breast cancer in our lifetime!"
