The Women’s Business Symposium was held at the Omni Hotel on April 30, 2008. In one
word, WOW! It was exciting, informative, very well received, and ran like we’d been
doing it for years. Representatives from print, TV and radio media were there to
cover it. In fact, we had a very nice column in the Richmond Times Dispatch on
May 1. Front page of the Business Section! NEW has received many complimentary
emails from members, panelists, and keynote speakers with words of
encouragement. Thanks to all for making it a huge success.
