A testimonial from a past recipient:
I wanted to thank you and the Network of Enterprising Women again for providing the opportunity to be a 2017 recipient of the N.E.W scholarship. This scholarship has made a real difference for me at the University of Mary Washington. This scholarship investment has provided me with additional time to focus on my academics. This fall, I earned a 4.0 GPA and qualified for the President’s List. In addition, this scholarship has provided me with the flexibility to spend time being involved with organizations through the university such as the Marketing Club and the Club Swim Team. I hope that your committee continues to award this scholarship for years to come.
Additionally, I was wondering if you knew if any of summer internship opportunities through the businesses involved in N.E.W, or other businesses in the surrounding area that are looking for an eager college student with a strong work ethic. The N.E.W scholarship has truly made a difference for me during this academic year, and I cannot thank you enough for providing this opportunity to students.
